PSA: Kickstarter – The Regret of Vitrerran

It’s time to plug a Kickstarter I think looks especially cool! This game is called ‘The Regret of Viterran‘, and is described as: “a real-time card game with RPG elements and a character-driven story.” It’s being developed by Dual Wield Software, with the aim being to finish development by October 2015. The Kickstarter has only started today, so it would be great if you were to consider learning more about the game.

The whole project looks especially awesome, and the Kickstarter itself shows everything you could possibly need to know about the game. The art-style is really distinctive, and the battle system looks like great fun to learn and master. Not only that, but the short music snippets are a joy to listen to. Looking at how the game plays is also cool, as it mixes card systems with turn-based RPGs. Dual Wield Software have compared the game to classics such as Baten Kaitos, Final Fantasy, and even Super Smash Bros with the aim being to knock your opponent off the playing field. The writers and developers involved are all great people, and I trust them to make a great looking game. Seriously, though, you can back the project using the link HERE!

I got an iPad around a year ago, and it’s quickly become my most used and beloved console yet. Although I assume I’ll continue to be a fan of Nintendo for whatever reasons, using the iPad has opened up a whole new world for me, and it feels as wonderful as a magic carpet ride. From the 69p Angry Birds games to the premium Square games, I’ve found tons of games to get busy with, and I know I’ve barely scratched the surface for what the platform has to offer. Therefore, indulge me for a moment, as I list the many different iOS games that I’ve loved, with a key factor being how they offer something unique to the platform.

So here’s the list! There’s no order, because the list of games I played is a big one, way over 30 games, I think! Hope you enjoy!
