Adam’s Favourite iPad Games – Revisited

I got an iPad around a year ago, and it’s quickly become my most used and beloved console yet. Although I assume I’ll continue to be a fan of Nintendo for whatever reasons, using the iPad has opened up a whole new world for me, and it feels as wonderful as a magic carpet ride. From the 69p Angry Birds games to the premium Square games, I’ve found tons of games to get busy with, and I know I’ve barely scratched the surface for what the platform has to offer. Therefore, indulge me for a moment, as I list the many different iOS games that I’ve loved, with a key factor being how they offer something unique to the platform.

So here’s the list! There’s no order, because the list of games I played is a big one, way over 30 games, I think! Hope you enjoy!

Game Review: Rollercoaster Tycoon 4 (iPad)

I’ve always enjoyed the Rollercoaster Tycoon games, and have recently gotten even more addicted to them. GOG.com has the entire trilogy with all the expansions, which means that anyone can go there and get involved in one of my favourite city simulation games out there. I’ve also been enjoying my iPad over the last few years, as it’s become one of my most used devices next to my television and PC. I watch Netflix on it, I write reviews on it, and I play Final Fantasy IV on it, making it a perfect device. As such, I was cautiously looking forward to a revival of the Rollercoaster Tycoon franchise on iOS, with the game being referred to as ‘Rollercoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile’. Some screenshots and videos showing potential freemium trappings made me cautious, but when I saw the game was given a premium price on the App Store, I assumed the game would at least be a somewhat decent mix between two styles of genre, freemium and simulation.

Yeah, don’t trust anyone, kids. This was terrible.
